The Librarian

Sat 4 Oct

LAYCOCK PRESENTS

At first glance, Paul-Émile Dumoulin seems like just a regular librarian. He is serious, proud and very orderly. Every book is in its place on his impeccable shelves just the way it should be.

But, there is a problem…

Every time Paul-Émile opens a book, he gets lost between the pages.  The very sensible librarian   disappears into the crazy worlds and adventures that he discovers in the stories.
He seems to become someone, or something new, metamorphosing into strange and curious characters.
But, just how far will reading take him?!
Will it be an adventure, or a romance or a thriller…?

This show blends clowning, acrobatics, physical theatre, break dancing, beatboxing and circus arts into an imaginative and hilarious adventure, whisking away its audience to faraway lands.
Hippolyte and the incredible creative team from Le Gros Orteil bring fun, skill and creativity to the stage taking their young audience on imaginative adventure of their own.
