Want to become an inventor? Join us at Gosford Regional Gallery to make your own Robot friend based on rescued materials. Buttons, bottle-tops, cardboard rolls – anything in your recycling bin can be the starting point for your creation! Everyone will leave the workshop with their own unique robot character to take home.
Materials are supplied, however participants are also encouraged to bring with them any other rescued materials which they might like to include in their robot, such as:
• Bottle tops
• Container lids
• Small boxes
• Egg cartons
• Plastic bottles or containers
• Christmas baubles
Children ages 6 years and under must be accompanied by an adult (accompanying adults do not require a ticket for the workshop).
This workshop is in collaboration with Little Wing Puppets performance of Trinket the Robot at Laycock Street Community Theatre – tickets available here
Trinket the Robot Performance Dates:
Thursday 16 April 10.30am & 12.30pm
Friday 17 April 10.30am
Little Wing Puppets have facilitated workshops with thousands of young people in every state and territory of Australia, as well as overseas. They believe that young people deserve access to the arts, wherever they live. They’re passionate about passing on their skills so that children can learn to create their own worlds through puppetry.
