Gosford Musical Society Juniors Production of Disney Pixar’s Finding Nemo JR.
Dive into a vibrant underwater adventure with Disney’s Finding Nemo JR., the heart-warming stage musical based on the beloved Finding Nemo from Disney and Pixar.
When Nemo is captured by a diver, his overprotective father Marlin sets off on an epic journey across the ocean to bring him home, meeting unforgettable characters along the way – including the optimistic Dory and a whole ocean of surprising new friends.
Featuring an energetic score by award-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez – the Oscar-winning team behind Frozen (‘Let It Go’) and the EGOT-winning composer of The Book of Mormon and Avenue Q – the show brings the ocean to life with memorable songs including ‘In the Big Blue World,’ ‘Just Keep Swimming,’ ‘Go With the Flow,’ and ‘Fish Are Friends Not Food.’
Featuring an all-Central Coast cast of more than 50 of the region’s most talented young performers, this joyful production is a celebration of friendship, courage, and discovering that sometimes the biggest adventures begin with the smallest fish.

Relaxed Performance – Friday 10 July 10:30am Session
Relaxed performances are open to everyone, including people who are autistic, people with sensory sensitivities, and anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment.
What to expect
At our relaxed performance, we encourage audience members to be themselves – feel free to make sounds, move your body, fidget, stim and use noise-cancelling headphones.
Modifications include:
- Bells will not be used in the foyer to announce show time, instead, staff will give verbal indication that it is time for patrons to find their seats.
- During the performance, Theatre lighting will remain on at a dim level. The volume of the show and sound effects will also be toned down.
- The Don Craig Studio will be open as a dedicated quiet space for patrons who require a break in a quiet, low sensory space.
- We will have a pre-show welcome where the main characters will come out on stage to introduce themselves and explain some of the effects of the show (e.g. smoke, sound effects), particularly highlighting scenes that may have higher sensory impact.
We hope that the inclusion of a relaxed performance means that more people can comfortably access the theatre and enjoy this wonderful show. We look forward to welcoming you!
